Back to School Picnic 2018

What: the Annual Back to School Picnic
Where: the Forest Pavilion at the USCG Base, Elizabeth City
When: Saturday, August 25th (11am-2pm)(Lunch will be served at noon)
Why: To kick of the new school year, meet new members, introduce people to homeschooling

     and of course, for FUN, FOOD and FELLOWSHIP!

If you are interested in joining the Albemarle Homeschool Support League and want to see what we are all about, come join us at our Back to School Picnic!  Contact us by Aug 15, 2018 at theahslteachers@gmail.com so we can add you to our guest list to get onto the Coast Guard base.  If you have a military id, feel free to swing by and meet us!

If you are new to Homeschooling, please come join us for our Beginner's Workshop.  Seasoned homeschoolers will be talking about state requirements, planning, learning styles, and choosing curriculum.  If you are feeling overwhelmed, this is the workshop for you!

When:August 28 from 6 to 8 PM

Why:To Encourage new-to-homeschooling parents as they begin this
